Chronology of cameras Whitehouse Products

Traduction de Sylvain Halgand.

Beacon Two-Twenty Five is much larger than Beacon I and II. The film used is not any more the 127, but the 620. The 620 is used in 6 X 6 cm, that is to say in English units, 2,25 inches X 2,25 inches, from where the name of this model.
The general structure of the camera is identical to that of Beacon I and II. The optical formula is a little better (one passes from a meniscus to a doublet 12,5/70 mm) and there are from now on two apertures (Dull: 12,5 and Brite: 18).
